Light Assistant v1.0.1.0

Light Assistant v1.0.1.0

The Light Assistant automatically controls beacon lights, driving lights, work lights and turn signals. The lighting responds to the time of day, weather, vehicle conditions and different driving situations.
Feature overview – beacon lights:
– Automatically activates for relevant attached implements, loaded bale collectors and forklifts.
– On harvesting machines, beacon lights activate in transport position or from 80% fill level of the crop container.
– The right beacon rotates or flashes more slowly.
Feature overview – driving lights:
– Automatically switches lights on and off depending on daylight and weather conditions.
– Takes darkness and poor weather into account.
Feature overview – work lights:
– Automatically controls front and rear work lights depending on the attached implements and their working positions.
– Adjusted switch-on and switch-off delays for natural lighting transitions.
– Holding the horn for at least one second briefly flashes the front work lights twice.
Feature overview – turn signals and hazard lights:
– Automatically operates turn signals on public roads based on AI traffic splines and steering angle.
– Automatically cancels the turn signals after turning.
– Automatically activates hazard lights during full braking on public roads, provided braking begins at a speed of at least 40 km/h and braking intensity reaches 99% for at least 1.2 seconds.
Notes:
– All automatic functions require a running engine. AI helpers are excluded.
– Manual light and signal operation takes priority over the respective automatic function.
– Manually switching beacon lights or driving lights disables the respective automatic function until the next engine start.
– Manually activated turn signals and hazard lights take priority until switched off again.
– Trailers, weights and front loaders do not trigger automatic beacon lights.
– On harvesting machines, the fill-level warning always takes priority over activation in transport position. It starts at 80% fill level and remains active until the level drops below 70%.
– Beacon lights in transport position require at least one foldable component. All foldable components must be fully folded, and the machine and header switched off. An unknown folding state prevents activation in transport position.
– Missing or non-foldable headers do not prevent activation in transport position if all other conditions are met. Harvesting machines without a crop container have no fill-level warning. The unloading pipe has no effect.
– After loading a saved game, the fill-level warning is activated again only at 80% fill level or above.
– Automatic switching takes function-specific switch-on, switch-off and run-on delays into account.
– Each module can be enabled or disabled individually for each player in the General Settings.
Changelog 1.0.1.0:
– Revised beacon light control for harvesting machines: transport position, folding functions and fill-level warning.
– Increased turn-signal cancellation delay to 2.5 seconds.
– Increased hazard-light switch-off delay to 3 seconds.
– Adjusted full-braking detection: 1.2 seconds, 99% braking intensity and at least 40 km/h when braking begins.
– Changed headlight flashing to two brief flashes.
– Optimized internal mod structure. Some settings were reset as a result.
– Updated mod description.
